Let’s get down to the show.
About the Website – Addupknowledge
Addupknowledge is a website that offers content to various audiences regarding topics such as sports and fitness, food, health and wellness, technology, travel, research, versus, mystery, and other general topics.
Basically, the website has several blog categories on various subjects. There are several debates regarding running a single niche blog or multi-niche blog. However, in the following section, I will elaborate on the implications of the two blog formats.
Should you have a Multi-Niche or Single-Niche Blog?
The answer is that it depends on your plans and SEO strategies to back it up.
A multiple niche blog is a blog that publishes information on a variety of topics. Essentially, the addupknowledge website is a multi-niche one that targets diverse audiences through content creation.
A single-niche blog identifies a topic, such as health and wellness, and decides to create authority by publishing quality and informative content.
There are several benefits associated with running a multi-topic blog, but it must be well-organized. With a blog that covers multiple topics, you can choose to post about food now and love tomorrow. It enables you to demonstrate flexibility and reach a larger audience.
From an SEO standpoint, ranking might be a struggle, and achieving the business objective may be challenging. Expertise, authority, and trust (E-A-T) are still primary ranking criteria for Google. EAT is used to select the most suitable content that answers the user’s query.
Your website must demonstrate E-A-T regardless of whether it is a single- or multi-niche site. However, it is easier to strategize a single-topic blog than a multi-topic one.
Here are some of the tips to follow to optimize your multi-niche website.
- Be consistent
- Prioritize quality
- Start small
- Quality SEO strategies, including keyword research, link building, meta tags, etc.
Evaluation of the UI/UX of the page
How does the website’s homepage appeal to users from the user’s perspective?
The homepage has to be attractive, well-organized, and informational in order to provide an excellent user experience. Users must be able to comprehend the website’s purpose at a glance . Taking into account addupknowledge’s website, the user experience is great. It may, however, be improved.
Some sections should be removed, in my opinion, from the perspective of the user. For instance, certain Read More blog posts were repeated, which contributed to the clumsiness of the homepage.

Tools Used for this Site Audit
Several SEO tools are available for evaluating a website’s performance. These technologies also assist in identifying missed opportunities on web pages.
These are the tools I used:
- Sitebulb
- Screaming Frog
- SEO Meta in 1 Click Extension
- Google Mobile-Friendly Test
- Google PageSpeed Insights
- SEMRush
- Detailed SEO Extension
Meta Description / Headings
I used Screaming Frog to get a broader perspective on executing meta descriptions and headings performance. The above image provides some significant issues:
- 127 Missing Meta Descriptions
- 165 Meta keywords
- 1 Missing and 6 Duplicate H1
- 155 Duplicate H2
Let’s also check the page title.
Page title unoptimized
- 24 Duplicate page titles.
I performed an in-depth review of the entire website and discovered that the problem arose from the website’s structure and ineffective SEO strategies.
For example, I utilized the SEO extension tools SEO Meta in 1 CLICK and Detailed SEO Extension on each page to determine what was discovered. I will use two pages as an example of the common issue of the website.
Page title duplicate 1
Page title duplicate 2
Possible Effects of the Identified Issues on SEO performance of the website
- Poor user experience
- High bounce rate
- Can affects how Google understands the page
- Can affect the ranking of the web page
How to resolve this issue
Any issues with headings and meta descriptions are easy to fix. You only need to identify the affected pages and create title tags and meta descriptions that are succinct and well-optimized.
Concentrate on developing unique and descriptive content for each of the duplicate meta descriptions, titles, and headings.
Image Optimization
Images can be a crucial component of your content creation because they can help to captivate your readers. At the same time, they can be a source of concern for your website if it is not properly optimized for search engine optimization criteria.
We will look through our case study to see the anatomy of images on the web page.
Let’s go again!
In summary, there are over 140 images that lack alt text (alternative texts).
Alt texts are crucial to the SEO success of a website. First, it aids the visually impaired by providing image descriptions via screen readers.
Second, alt text gives semantic meaning and a description of your image, which assists search engines in comprehending a website.
How to resolve this issue
You can use free SEO extensions such as SEO Meta in 1 Click to identify all affected images that lack alt texts and titles. Then add concise, descriptive text to them.
N.B., you don’t need to add alt text to decorative images.
Domain Overview
The domain overview of this website necessitates an all-encompassing SEO strategy to generate relevant organic traffic and build relevant high-quality backlinks. These elements will increase the authority score of the website. While websites with high authority are more likely to rank highly on Google, those with no or low authority scores will fall behind.
The website’s keyword analysis indicated that only six keywords now rank between positions 50 and 65 on Google. This is unimpressive, and a smarter SEO strategy is required to optimize the website for higher search engine rankings.
General Recommendations for Addupknowledge
- Target the relevant keyword while focusing on quality content.
- Target keywords with low volume and difficulty
- Value quality above quantity
- Improve and optimize internal linking
- Build relevant backlinks to the website
- Prioritize all on-page optimization best practices.
